Alberto Gonzales is either not answering questions or telling huge fat lies. He's a waste of oxygen. Senator Leahy has chewed the little bastard down to the nubs. I haven't seen this much maneuvering and dodging since Nixon's ass was on the line. It's loathesome.
I do see the parallels, only Nixon at least seemed intelligent and articulate. It galls me to have an imbecile like Bush getting away with everything he's perpetrated on us.
What's interesting is that the Republicans on this committee voted not to place Gonzales under oath; ergo he could lie his little head off and not be subject to charges of perjury.
For about 30 seconds I was considering respecting Arlen Specter. That's enoughathat.
Yeah. Without swearing to tell the truth, why bother? It's astounding how much these sniveling creeps get by with. The Democrats are miserable wimps for not complaining loud enough to grab headlines.
