They've Gone Too Far

I know I've been harping about the McCain/Palin campaign fomenting hatred, violence and racism during their stump speeches, but this little video clip helps to illustrate what I've been saying.
While it's true that I loathed Bush and Cheney's campaigns, even they didn't sink this low in their desire to win.
I read a lot about people who claim to know McCain and say he must be hating to do what his handlers tell him to do, but why then has he done it anyway?
Is he really that weak?
Palin is an unsophisticated rube without the political acumen or experience to know any better, but hasn't McCain been around long enough to avoid scorched earth politics?
Desperation is a miserable affliction. You can smell it on a person like burnt Styrofoam.
Desperate politicians try to hide it- using slogans like "country first," when it's so clear they'd watch the country implode before they'd do the honorable thing and admit they've betrayed their own principles in order to win.

Obama hasn't won yet, though all signs seem to be pointing that way. But McCain has already lost.
He's lost his self respect.
He's lost the "honor" of being a POW by over-exploiting it for personal gain.
He's lost all credibility.
He's lost the people's trust.
He's lost his mind.

Hey, when you can no longer fearmonger folks using Iraq/911, you have to use what you have on hand. Unlike the previous assholes, McPain/Failin are hatemongering as well.

Un-fucking-believable. Sorry McFailin, long after you assholes are gone from the political stage, these videos will STILL BE HERE.

I'm glad that Obama isn't lowering himself to this level. When they start in about Rev Wright, Obama could whip out the video of Rev Muthee and Palin. Bill Ayres? How about McCain's man-love relationship with G Gordon Liddy? And let's not even get into ethical and lawful behavior.

At least its become a lose-lose situation for McCain. His own party called him on these hate rallies so he had to eat shit and say that Obama's a decent person. Now these dementors are all pissed at McCain.

Forget Liddy--McCain's transition chief, a lobbyist named Timmins used to lobby for Saddam Hussein.
Top that!

Could today be the death-blow? I thought that last Friday was it, what with McPain being forced to grab the speaker back from that old hag who called Obama an "Arab" (not that there's anything wrong with that) and the Troopergate bombshell.

One has to wonder just what the fuck it's going to take??

Can't wait till Those Two crawl back into their respective holes.

Wouldn't it be something if negative campaigning was found to be counter-productive? No more Rove and company.

you are so correct, karen. no matter what, capt underpants has already lost. if he is able by some miracle to pull out a win, he will be despised by a lot of people because of his actions. if he had attacked obama on policy differences, that's fine. however, he didn't do that. instead, he and princess made up bogus arguments against his character and the character of the people around him. what is even worse is that capt u doesn't even have the balls to do it himself. instead, he has his surrogates do it for him. if he thinks that leaves his hands clean, he is greatly mistaken.

That is very true. I think McCain has trashed his own reputation and I can't even imagine how he could go back to the Senate after such a disgraceful campaign. His career may be over completely after this.
