Arrogant Turd

Say what you will about Donald Trump (including calling him an arrogant turd) but this season's Celebrity Apprentice is a must-watch.
Why? Because Trump has assembled a group of dysfunctional has-beens and almost-weres that nobody could have matched.
Who knew Dionne Warwick was such a snide, hateful old bitch?
Who knew Gary Busey was even crazier and more brain damaged than anyone thought?
Who knew Atlanta Housewife NeNe Leakes was slightly taller and lots more masculine than Wilt Chamberlain?
Who knew Meatloaf had a temper that scared me almost right off my couch?
Who knew Jose Conseco had more tics than a Timex?
It's a trainwreck, I tell you, and it's worth watching.
And if my prediction is right, Star Jones will win the title. Yes, Star Jones is one of the more likable celebrities on the show. And I don't like her.

this is one show i refuse to watch. i despise donald trump with the intensity of a million suns. i will not look at his ugly face, nor that of his ugly son or ugly daughter. not one of them would even have a job if trump's daddy had not made millions.

Clever of Trump to cash in on Americas obsession with crazy hateful people. The only difference between these batshit crazy contestants and the R turds on Fox "news" is that Trump's crazies don't hold our destiny in their hands.

What a waste-- of air time, which could be vastly improved... and of your incredibly smart and creative self...

I keep thinking that you are much too good for TV... a little rolling around in tacky pop culture is fine, but I miss the you who takes on more substantial topics.

Lulu,
I had to step away from posting about politics, social issues and the state of our nation because I was walking around outraged and angry all the time.
Obama and my girl Hillary both turned out to be war mongers and we still live in a fascist country.
Trash TV is a salve to my wounded psyche.

Take refuge in art. More rewarding. Your wounded psyche has a lot to say.

Sorry about the nagging. I just think a lot of that brain you have. We have enough trash TV bloggers. You have more to say.

You can delete this if you like.

As a blogger going on 11 years now, one should expect a few periods of light-weight posts from me.
Some like TV, some hate it.
I like it.

I heard this dipshit described today on NPR as a "potential republican candidate for the presidency" today, and I almost threw up.

dguzman, i heard the same thing yesterday. a right-wing friend of mine said he saw the first part of a multi-part interview with trump on bill o'reilly's show.

lol, i can't wait to see the headlines the day after The Donald loses the nomination: YOU'RE FIRED!

kz - i don't watch this show, but my prediction is meatloaf all the way! i have a personal connection to him; 'bat out of hell' was the very first 8-track i ever bought!

When asked to watch reality TV by my favorite commenter on my silly tabloid blog, I summon my inner twelve year old and proudly say,

"You're not the boss of me."
