Heaven Help Me

I tried to avoid it all this time, but I was surfing and the channel landed on 'Dancing With the Stars' and I accidentally loved it.
Who wouldn't love Clyde Drexler and his big old ass dancing to Zydeco music?
Now I even want to watch Heather Mills to see if her prosthetic flies off.
What's next, American Idol?

Not unless you are basically mad for oversinging a song and can get through the initial weeks of the deluded thinking that they can out-Mariah Carey.

Actually, that's probably the only good part, sort of like watching The Blob after smoking enough hash to kill a horse.

Hah! Mel was watching that show last night and I was amazed when she said she liked it and it was the best reality show on TV. I'd never seen it before so I sat down and watched it with her. It was pretty good, but I don't need to start watching another reality show.

I watch and have for a couple of seasons. I love dancing and since I can no longer actually dance..I live vicariously through these nitwits.

Clyde the glide is a charmer isn't he?

Hey Karen...have you watch Workout on Bravo....true gay drama!

Cris is right, Workout is gay drama you don't want to miss. From the bad choice in g'friends to the fun, but alas tragic, gay male friend, it hits home.

I confess, we've been watching Dancing With the Stars and AI since their inceptions. Its mindless fun in the midst of all the murder/rape/bloody mess shows going on. But the "Stars" part is very misleading, c'mon, Heather Mills, please. They show them torquing down her leg too and that makes me queasy.

Of course I watch Jackie on Workout. Her on-again off-again lover Mimi is actually worse than any of my exes-none of them bit me!
If I were Jackie, however, I'd dump Mimi in a heartbeat and start playing the field. Big time.

Reality, my ass.

I find most people much more interesting than celebrities, though I do enjoy watching Brad and Angelina sticking the public's nose where it's otherwise too ignorant and/or disinterested to go.

I think Brangelina are rather weird. I can see adopting orphans from third world countries but to do it in such rapid succession worries me. I hope those babies are getting the parental attention they deserve.
