Gas Prices
Please note that gas prices went down during the last election and now they are at record highs. The state paying the most? Blue California. The American city paying the most? Blue Chicago.
If you think Bush and Condi Standard Oil Rice aren't behind this, you're fucking nuts.
Congress should have demanded an investigation of this price gouging years ago.
When Bush entered office in 2001, gas in Texas was 99 cents a gallon. Now it's close to $3 a gallon.
That fucking crook doesn't even have the sense to pork barrel his own (adopted) state.
I'm starting to eye the Prius really seriously.

Gas (regular) is $3 a gallon here in VT, snother blue state.
The oil companies did admit that they lowered prices around election time.
Big surprise.
It comforts me to buy from Hugo, my favorite dictator, who at least spends the profits on the poor.
$3.07 a frickin' gallon here.
You notice how every damn long weekend, it spikes up? And the media will always report that the gas companies said it's due to decreased production. Riiight.
The latest on the front page of today's NYTimes is that alternative fuels will keep the prices of petro products high because their popularization will "discourage the building of new refineries."
Let's kick their asses.
Hugo's gas stations in the US are called Citgo.
Not a drop of Arab oil is used at their gas stations.
Buy from them.

I'm suspicious. They report that Prius gets 60-70 mpg, then I read consumer reports that 35-40 is closer to reality and that goes down as the car ages. They also say you never need to buy a battery, but its only warranted for 8 years and the thought of buying a $3000-5000 battery, plus disposal costs. We won't know anything for sure until the cars are driven for several more years, and maybe by then we'll be burning???...I'm suspicious.
For now, Citgo sounds fine good to me, thanks other anonymous person.
