Back to Reality

Wow, she's back to wearing her Alaska Walgreen's 3/$20 hoodie and having to carry around that prop grandson of hers.
Don't get me wrong, I ain't never birthed no babies myself, but I've held a lot of them and...aren't you supposed to support their little heads?
Poor, poor Sarah.
Having been exposed as a money-sucking grifter, she's gonna find it more difficult to skim money off the Alaskan taxpayers for incidentals like a stylist, 5 star hotels and couture fashions.
No more crushing paparazzi and daily front page stories in the national press media.
Katie Couric and Charlie Gibson have no more interest in interviewing her, now that she's back to being the Governor of a remote state with a population fewer than Santa Fe.
Now she's back to this:

Sigh. After the homespun "welcome home" display of inexpensive balloons and the little banner in her office are cleaned up and thrown away, she's back to sitting at her desk, beholding the love seat with the taxidermied dead bear draped over it.
It's over, princess.
The Republicans have used you and discarded you like a snotty, mascara-stained tissue.
Back to being Governor of Methlandia. Back to eating moose stew and shopping at the consignment shop. No more stretch limousines, baby, climb back on the back of Todd's snow machine and ride off into Alaska's 23 hours of winter darkness.

What a spectacular crash, indeed. Back to reality for Bible Spice! Yeah she truly carries her grandkid like a sack of potatoes, I wonder if she even lets the actual mother of the child spend time with him?

All eyes on Bristol's tummy now!

LOL... Wasilla Hillbilly grifters. Good lord, what will I laugh at now??

Five (maybe four) babies and she holds him like that. Very odd.

So Bristol should be 7.5 months pregnant now. Any recent pictures? She seems to have a little tummy, accent on the little.

And while we're at it, Joe the Plumber is probably headed back to the sewer.

I hope we've seen the last of her. I think the GOP does too - hence the incredibly nasty "leaks" from the campaign all this past week, trying to tell us all she was even worse than we knew.

But she may not be gone for good. We have to keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't come back! ;-)

i couldn't believe how she was holding that baby when i saw it on tv. the other thing i noticed was that princess has a jacket on, but the baby had no shoes or socks. her kids are just props to her. you never see any signs of affection.

Some babies like to be held like that. Some like to be held across your arm face down like the football in a Heisman trophy pose. It's not the way she holds the baby that's got me its that she never kisses its head or just rests her cheek on him. That's what moms do.

Townhall is blaming the nasty left wing media for all the yukky criticism of their princess. Te he.

She really isn't very affectionate with her children. I've seen her pat Piper on the shoulder almost as an afterthought, but I've never seen her cuddling any of her kids.

jess wundren, that's pretty interesting (re: Townhall) considering it was FauxNoise and the McLame campaign who did the most trashin' *wink*

Serious question: Do Downs Syndrome babies behave like that? Trig has all of the animation of a doll. The other Palins carry the kid as though he's just a prop, not a live critter. I wouldn't even carry a cat or a dog that way.

What a comedown that has to be.

I've always gotten a disconnected sense from her when she's holding the baby. I admit, when The Actor was little, he preferred to be held like a football and MathMan would hold him like that, but it was an under the arm, baby facing forward thing. It was odd, but that's how that silly kid liked it. On the other hand, I didn't care him that way, I held him upright, like other moms do, with the baby facing me so he could yank my hair and play with my earrings.

He's really cute, I'd hold him to my chest and kiss his little forehead all the time if he was mine. People with Downs Syndrome are the sweetest, most loving and guileless people on earth, so I hope someone is cuddling him once in awhile.

As to his mother, she screwed it up for Alaska. I doubt if Obama will be okay with continuing to give AK the biggest hunks of government pork. Oh, and its 30 degrees with snow and freezing rain falling in Anchorage. Welcome home Gov.

Can't she just discontinue the annual oil dividend Alaskans get and keep it for herself? Oh I forgot, oil prices have fallen through the floor.
