Very Sad News
My friend Mileah Jordan from Austin passed away yesterday.
The owner of the blog Literally Liberal, Mileah was a kind soul with great passion for the underdog, great political insight and a lovely way with words.
She touched many lives with her writing, and she will be missed.
Godspeed, my friend.

I believe they are still looking into the cause, though there was no sign of any foul play.

Thanks, JB.
It's a time to pray for her soul and to count our own blessings.
There but for the grace of God...
My thoughts are with you, KZ. What a loss.
I just emailed her this week and didn't get a response. This just blows me away.
Thank you, Teresa.
That was comforting Theresa..thanks..
we will miss her, and yes she was a patriot.
Oh my god.
I'm just stunned. She was such an amazing person and someone I am proud to call friend.
I'm just at a loss here. Thank you for letting us know.
Here's a notice I got today from Mileah's co-worker, Liz:
For those of you who do not know me, I am a friend and co-worker of Mileah Jordan. I am so sad to inform all of you that our loved Mileah has passed away. She died peacefully on her couch sometime this past Thursday or Friday. A viewing will be held Wednesday in Quitman, TX. I believe it is roughly a five hour drive from Austin. The viewing in Quitman will be at the Royal Valley Funeral Home. The viewing will be from 11:00am-1:30pm. A grave site service will take place afterwards not far from there at 2:30pm. There will also be a memorial service on Thursday for her in Austin. The details are not 100% confirmed yet but so far the plan is for it to take place at Stubb's restaurant located at 801 Red River St. and the tentative time is set for 3:00-5:00pm. Mileah will be so missed. I know she touched everyones heart that was in her life..."
Please light a candle or say a prayer for her during those times she will be honored.
Thank you
I'm very sorry to hear about your friend.
WTF? I just talked with her on the phone the other day... she sounded fine. Holy shit.
We were planning on driving out to visit sometime. She was a great person. I'll miss our conversations.
Mileah made a lot of friends in Blog world. She left this world too early.
