Documents Show Gonzales Approved Firings

WASHINGTON — Attorney General & Mo Fo Alberto Gonzales approved plans to fire several U.S. attorneys in an hour long meeting last fall, according to documents released Friday that indicate he was more involved in the dismissals than he has claimed.
Last week, Gonzales said he "was not involved in any discussions about what was going on" in the firings of eight prosecutors that has since led to a political firestorm and calls for his ouster.
Adios, you fucking LIAR.

Frank Rich has a great column in the Sunday Times detailing Dubya's and 'Berto's tacky little history.

Lulu, Unfortunately Rich is a Times Select writer so most of us can't access his column. You can post it here if you want. :)

Sorry. I'm not a Times Select customer. We buy the Sunday Times as part of a weekend ritual. It goes with being very lazy and a fine breakfast at a local hangout.

Ahhh.

What's taking so long for Bush to fire Gonzales? Seems to me Bush has already given him the customary "I'll stand by my man" speech, so how much time usually elapses between that and *BAM*?
Surely someone is keeping track of the time between the insincere words and the dastardly deeds.

Who the hell would want that job at this point? May as well keep Tio Beto in there as long as the little fool keeps taking the punches for Bush.

Gonzales is an embarrassment to every Hispanic in America. He embodies so many negative stereotypes, I'm shocked LULAC and other groups haven't mounted an attack on his performance.
No matter who Bush appoints after this scumbag is fired, the guy will be looked upon as just another GOP political hack who's sworn to kiss Bush's flat ass, not to protect the constitution nor do The People's bidding.
May as well be Chertoff- his career and credibility are already ruined, so what the heck?
