For best actor I was thinking more along the lines of Philip Seymour Hoffman in Truman.

Do you watch the AA's? I try but never watch it all.

P.S. Hoffman is deserving of an Oscar in his role, but I think Hollywood will give Heath Ledger the nod as a fuck you to the neo-cons.
Yes, of course I watch the Academy Awards. It's not just part of the requirements for being gay, it's considered a high holy day.

I'm truly unqualified to say. I did see and like Brokeback Mountain. Good Night and Good Luck did not seem to have much heart, though the subject does for me. I missed Crash and hope it returns in the Oscar-related second rounds. Capote just came back, so hope to catch it this time.

We won't see the Oscars, since we have no TV (atypical queers), but we are going to see Judi Dench in Mrs. Henderson Presents.

See KZ..not all celebrate it as a "high holy day"..I watch to see who's boob is gonna flop out..thats my story and I am sticking to it.

Mrs. Henderson presents was very good! I brake for Judi Dench!

Sorry 'Brokeback' didn't take the big prize... I do hear that 'Crash' has a gravitas of its own... hope to see it soon.

I saw Crash without expectations and liked it a lot, but I was surprised it ranked as an Oscar contender.
But what do I know?
My picks were mostly wrong.
