Dear Hornets:

You remember that little fender bender where your peeps took advantage of me last week?

Yeah, well.

Enjoy the off season.

Karma... it can be a real bitch, depending on your perspective. Or it can be very fecking sweet.

I think we know how this one goes!

Too clutch! Bring on L.A. We match up even better with them. No way Derek Fisher can hang with Tony Parker.

The Hornets probably have a bright future, but they need more time playing together. In the same vein, Kobe playing a role other than the arrogant superstar probably has a bright future too, but he needs more than one season to ease into that role. Genuine team ball from the good guys will take us to the Finals again.

Wayyy clutch.
heh heh heh

Last night I had to endure listening to Punkin' Head Barkley saying Derek Fisher would smother Tony Parker and I had to laugh.
Derek Fisher? Please.
Did I miss the times when the Lakers won the title and named Little Derek Fisher MVP?
I think not.
Even when the Lakers had Shaquille O'Meal, the Spurs had their number.
Now that the Lakers are reduced to one franchise player (KoMe Bryant), one little guy (Fisher) and a bunch of very tall scrubs, how will they deal with the triple threat of Duncan, Parker and Genobili?
Barkley also kept mentioning Lakers Center Pau Gasol as a threat.
Funny, the name Gasol doesn't strike fear in my heart like the name Duncan does in theirs.
Plus, we took Big Shot Bobby Horry from the Lakers and he knows their coaching and their number.
Not to mention he has the all-time record for playoff games in the NBA.
I say bring 'em on.

I'd blog more if someone would kindly hire Jeff Galoolie to smack Kobe Bryant in the knees with a baseball bat.

That rapist deserves a flagrant foul...just for GP's.

Lakers Coach Phil Jackson is a prick.
Last night in Game 2, the Lakers beat the Spurs by 30 points.
Most coaches would be satisfied with a 20-point stomping, but Jackson had to have 30.
Good.
The Lakers are coming to San Antonio and our Coach Popovich will be good and pissed.

It was a slaughter m'dear. Ruined my evening.

Game three:
The Spurs returned the favor and stomped them by a gentlemanly 20 points (give or take).
BOO-Ya!

Yep, it was good..I had to flip back and forth. Ginobilli is one guy I draft every year in fantasy leagues. He finally got it done tonight.
