Bush Spikes in the Polls

Bush's "incredibly good week" has resulted in a whopping, one-point increase in his poll numbers.
According to an NBC/Wall Street Journal poll, Bush has zoomed from an abysmal 36 point approval rating to a hefty 37 point rating.
Analogous to this would be a turd circling the drain to one floating near the surface of a toilet bowl.
Though the media has been swooning over the hit on another one of the Number Two men in Iraq and christening Bush with a second chance, the public's not buying it.
File this under "too little, too late."
Now, rumors about the Bush administration endorsing an amnesty for terrorists program in Iraq are bound to drag BushCo back to the bottom of the toilet bowl.
It seems the 2,500 American lives lost in Bush's unwinnable quagmire still count for something in the American consciousness.
Bush may not care, but we do.

The Titanic is taking on water faster than the Shrub and his asshats can bail it?

Great! I also read somewhere that the Iraqi PM fired the guy who's idea it was to give amnesty..

You know, Bush should be happy for his one little percentage point. W. going to Iraq, did nothing for me, or them.

I just want him gone.

He's a self destructive drunk so he'll screw up many more times before he's done. I love it that he's being made to apologize, accept responsibility (at least verbally), back-paddle, and basically admit he's fucked up. The most important thing going for us is that even the R's are sick and tired of him.

I know this is horrible to say and I don't mean to incite anyone into doing it, but I can't help but wish that Bush would get critically injured during one of his publicity stunt trips to Iraq.
Until he or one of his ilk feels the literal pain of this war, there will be no compassion or understanding of the sorrow wrought by these draft dodging warmongers.
Bush would make a far better martyr than he's been as a leader.

why the hell are the Dems being such chickenshits? Geez Louise...it's time to dust off your spine, people...shit or get off the pot...

the GOP is, for the lack of a better term...on the ropes, and these losers want to wait til they catch their breath before they go in for the kill. I hardly think the GOP would afford them the same courtesy.

Blood's in the water, boys...whatcha gonna do?

The war vote shocked me too. For a long time the buzz has been that the D's and the R's are in cahoots and I used to laugh. Now I'm wondering.

I keep hearing that people are talking more and more about voting for the "Independent" candidates. I'd like anyone with a spine and a heart. That's all I ask. Can't think of anyone who has both.
