Uncle Jack Guards the Babies

My pal KT who's taking care of the babies until they are weaned has a "kitten" named Jack. Jack is the largest kitten in history, as you can see. He's only about 7 months old but already he's the size of a small bobcat.
Jack's disposition with humans could be better, but it turns out he's a very gentle uncle to the babies and he knows instinctively they are too little to be played with roughly.
Just before the babies fell asleep, Jack gently put his paw on Baby Jake's little pink nose. Baby Jake didn't get scared one bit. YAY!

Aww, thank you.
They are rather cute babies, especially the buff one.

A word about Jake's sisters.
The silver baby next to him is very sweet and definitely the smartest one in the litter. She was the first to try everything- using the litter box, walking, mewing, eating solid food and getting into mischief.
The tiger kitten in the background is into biting, scratching and being overly independent. She's the Britney Spears of the litter.
The little black baby is very sweet and the most babyish of the litter. She has the most adorable clueless facial expression and a little maroon nose and lips. Her black kitten fuzz is silver tipped and sure to be gorgeous when she grows up.

Their Uncle Jack was very likely related to the babies' Siamese mix Mama, possibly her son.
He's enormous and bossy and cannot tolerate affection unless it's on his terms. But he's amazing gentle with the babies.

Yay for Uncle Jack!

You can't get along with everyone, so it's best to thrown in with sweet lil' kittens.
