A Prairie Home Companion

You'd think with Meryl Streep, Lily Tomlin, Lindsey Lohan, Garrison Keillor and more, the movie would have been sensational.
Well, I picked it out last night and my most frequent movie viewing companion has stripped me of my movie choosing rights.
It was a pointless snore. The music was corny, the plot was thin, the cinematography was dark and the comedy was nonexistent.
Save your money.
No, really.

Yeah... the reviews have been lousy. We're passing on this one.

I was dying to see it too, but I wouldn't even recommend it as a rental. It's just totally boring.
Maybe I missed the point of the story, but I don't think so.

My mom said "don't bother" too.

dj, I know nothing about this, but I do think Lindsey Lohan has charisma and talent that'll give her staying power in Hollywood.
In the field of young, vacuous bimbos glutting the youth entertainment market, she seems to have that certain something that women like Sandra Bullock have.
