Good God!

I'm starting to think fast food restaurants are intentionally trying to out-do each other in high caloric disgustingness.
Taco Bell takes a crunchy taco and glues it to a flour tortilla using liquid cheese product.
Burger King sells a triple patty/triple cheese monster.
But I think KFC just zoomed to the head of the pack with its new "sandwich," which skips the bread and uses two fried chicken breasts to surround cheese, bacon slices and some kind of creamy secret sauce.
Even on my most craven days of itching for something greasy and fattening, I doubt this paper-wrapped heart attack would appeal to me. It's just too much!
Before this, I thought KFC was already being outrageous by serving bowls filled with fried chicken chunks, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn and cheese.
But this damn thing?
Insanity.
Would you try one?

"...glues it to a flour tortilla using liquid cheese product." Perfectly damning, KZ.

Bacon and cheese are not my favourites anyway, so I won't be having this deathwish.

No f*ing way! First off, I hate KFC's chicken. Probably seen too many PETA ads to stomach them anymore. But this whole "no bun" thing is kind of crazy!

"LOWER CARBS!! Your middle will thank you! But your heart will instantly explode!!"

Why doesn't the "sin tax" extend to these nasty products that contain more than 30% fat? We made bikers wear helmets and discourage smokers and drinkers with a killer tax, how about doing something to stop people from killing themselves (and save us from paying their medical bills) because they ingest this cheap garbage?

That is one gross gob of gunk.
Fried chicken & bacon. Blech!

One loaded revolver would be more efficient, if you really wanted to do yourself in.

No.

I would/could not eat such a thing.

It's all your fault that I posted what I did on my bog today!

Yikes, Fran, how do I get myself a brownie husband? Mmmm.
As for the KFC bunless monstrosity, it may be low on carbs, but my hunch is the large order of fries the same hogs would order with it would cancel that out.

The carbs are in the breading.

Doesn't the word 'product' make you want to hurl?

Of course, it could bring Elvis back from the dead. Sounds like his cuppa.

KZ~ I checked out the Nutrition facts from the KFC website. The 540 calories total- 290 are "fat", 10 g saturated fat, 145 on cholesterol- and in the "Would you like some food with your salt"
category, this baby has 1380 mgs of salt.
(Mayo clinic recommends 1500 to 2400 per day, max)

I remember back when KFC was pitching their product as "Low Carb", the commentator remarked

"It comes in a BUCKET"

I suspect Colonel Sanders is involved in some death panel conspiracy!

Tina Fey did a great job w the brownie husband commercial.

The SNL taco town ad had fun mocking fast food places piling it on. Ugh!

I found out KFC has a grilled option for the no buns sandwich.
Oh, right, now it sounds healthy.
