Don't Be a Victim of Electile Dysfunction
I am going out to vote against Proposition 2 today.
With laws already on the Texas books banning gay marriage, this Proposition is a waste of taxpayer money and just another affront to gays.
The "No Nonsense in November" campaign here in Texas encourages the fair minded to vote anyway.
We want to send a message to closet faggots like Governor Rick Perry and his ex boyfriend, former Texas Sec. of State Geoffrey O'Connor that we are paying attention.
The closets may be roomy in the Governor's mansion, but they are still dark and constraining.
I urge you all to vote in your elections today.
Let's give the GOP a sneak preview of what's to come.

Fingers crossed for a sane vote, Texans! May tolerance rule and ignorance be quashed.
AH-nold has a shitload of initiatives on the ballot today in Cali. There are two decent alternative ones which I will be voting FOR they are no's 79 and 80..
I voted NO on everything except for a 1/8th of a cent property tax hike to benefit our fantastic local community college system.
EVERY election counts these days. There is no excuse for liberals not to swamp the polls and take our fucking country back- county by county, state by state.
Just today I was sorting through some old papers and I found an old newspaper photo of my two gay sisters, assisting a woman into a Planned Parenthood clinic amidst a crowd of raging protesters.
They had no horses in the pro-choice race, but they were risking their personal safety to protect a woman's right to choose.
Straight girls and breeders, when's the last time you lifted a finger to help out a queer?
Is it really okay with you that people actually voted to deny us the same rights as any taxpaying adult?
It reminds me of the old story:
First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out--because I was not a communist;
Then they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out--because I was not a socialist;Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out--because I was not a trade unionist;Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out--
because I was not a Jew;
Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak out for me.
Not all hetero's are that way KZ but I agree that they do not as a "whole" support gay rights in the voting booth. I am ashamed of all of them that stayed home. In Cali tonite its the same thing, lowest turnout for a special election in years. I was only the 139th person to vote in my precinct tonite..and I went an hour before the polls closed. This bodes well for AHnold they say..which sucks.
From the returns I saw from Colliefornia, Arnold took some hard hits.
Overall, I think the national elections bode well for the Democrats. People have had enough of Bush.
My political nemesis Clyde pooh-poohed the results "because they didn't effect the House or Senate."
He failed to note two things:
There were no House or Senate races, and, the results of the elections we did have do not cast the neo-cons in a good light.
But then he also thinks the chemical weapons stories sweeping Europe are fishy.
