There are no words.

Oh, I have plenty of words.
I knew Hillary was hiding her liberal side, thinking she had to pander to the right to get elected.
Now she's back to being her old liberal self and voting accordingly.
Obama's doing the pandering to the right now.
And McCain? I guess he didn't think voting on the FISA bill was more important than staying on the campaign trail and begging for money.

Pathetic. How many times are we going to have to say "I told you so" if Obama gets elected?

Still--he'll be better than Chimp.

He may be better than the chimp, but if he keeps voting the same way the chimp would, I'm not sure how much better.
Pandering to the right and losing his base in the process might just lose him the election.

God, I miss Hillary.

I miss having the 4th admendment and Hillary. I don't trust Obama and as far as I can see, I was right not to.

I would like to make a case for Obama's vote for the FISA bill. According to what I have read, this bill only protects Telecoms from civil prosecution...not criminal prosecution. Obama has said that if he gets into office, he will pursue criminal investigation and legal action against the telecoms if warranted.

"if warranted" is a classic politician's line.
Obama's aye vote tells us all we need to know about his real stance on the issue.
If he thought criminal investigations were warranted, he would have voted nay.

To my anonymous friend, fat chance. Don't think Bush won't pardon his telecom buds on the way out the door thus rendering any unsubstantiated Obama plans for criminal prosecution useless.

Obama had his chance to do right on this issue, and he completely blew it.
