Another One Bites the Dust

Though the GOP dominoes are falling slower than many of us would wish, still they are falling:
Ohio Republican Tied to Lobbyist to Cede Post

AP Washington - Rep. Bob Ney, an Ohio Republican implicated in a lobbying corruption investigation, said Sunday he will step aside temporarily as chairman of the House Administration Committee.

"Unfortunately it has become clear to me in recent days that the false allegations made against me have become a distraction to the important work of the House Republican Conference and the important work that remains ahead for the House Administration Committee," Ney said in a written statement..."

I believe Tom DeLay used the false allegations routine, too, just before he "temporarily" stepped down in disgrace.

Adios, MoFo #2.

By the way, Walter Cronkite said we need to get the hell out of Iraq.
Last time he made an announcement like that, LBJ realized that if Cronkite was against the war, then middle America was against him, too.
Bush probably won't get it though- back when Cronkite was on the air Bush was chopping lines of coke and rolling joints.

Perusing your blog, specifically, "Pulp Friction" (did you like RESEVOIR DOGS?), I have arrived at what I believe is a defensible inference. Both you and your readers would welcome news of in-your-face overt opposition to your "smirking chimp", my "dum'ya botch".

In plainer terms, I want to run for Representative for Pennsylvania's 10th Congressional District on a platform calling for the impeachment of President George Walker Bush.

Incidentally, I deliberately referred to your blog, to indicate that I visited your blog as an individual, and not as a spammer. Yes, that last is an illustion to a "pre-deconstruction" chick flick with a rating of two and a half hankies.

Oh, alright (!) already, I'll own up to it. I owe getting my message out to so many bloggers to COPY/PASTE ... gim'me a break ... will'ya puh-lease! I got to get the word out somehow.

Ah, before you click on any of the enclosed hyperlinks, please read the entirely of my comment. For example, the three planks I nailed together in my platform out to get me elected. "impeach bush" is the first plank. The second is "impeach bush". The third is like the second, "impeach bush".

To continue, the first hyperlink below leads to the opening salvo of my campaign.

As for the second hyperlink, it leads to evidence that my candidacy is about more than opposition solely for the sake of opposition.

oh, by the bye, it's a good guess you'll find what I have to say in PROMETHEAN COMMENT interesting to the point of startling. In that segment, I advance the case that the mere nomination of Judge Alito is tantamount to treason.

I used to love hearing Rosie O'Donnell call Prince 'TAFKAP.' He walked off her show once because she kept on calling him that.
I saw him in concert once.
He's fabulous, but what a feisty little teacup poodle he is.

I am leaning toward voting for Kinky Friedman for Governor of Texas, so maybe Sefton has a shot in his run for Congress in Pennsylvania.
Look at Jesse Ventura in Minnesota-when people get fed up enough, anyone has a shot.

Is Kinky still around?

He's running for Governor of Texas as an independent.
