Too Much News

Every morning, I read the latest headlines and some of the news stories attached to them.
It has become overwhelming to try to select the worst of the worst political scandals on which to comment.
Which is bothering you most lately?
I'm too overwhelmed to pick just one.

How about this? "...the United States on Monday backed an Iranian initiative to deny United Nations consultative status to organizations working to protect the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people." It's posted on Julien's List. http://educatedeclectic.blogspot.com/

That phony-ass war that's killing our kids and all manifestations thereof... number one till they're home safe...

To me, the war in Iraq is like a pre-existing, ongoing illness, like diabetes.
Politicized homophobia is like having the gout or another disease that flares up occasionally.
Illegal spying is like a herpes* outbreak that resists treatment.
Karl Rove is like having psoriasis.
Rightwing pundits are like having hemmoroids.
Bush is like a slow growing cancer that should be removed before it metastisizes.
All in all, today's news makes me sick.

*so I've heard, I don't actually have it

The biggest scandal I can think of is the number of assclowns who're being lied to about this Chimp's dealings and still believing the shit they're fed.

If you're not pissed by now, you're in denial.

(oh yeah, I'm back...had a lil haitus...)

What is driving me nuts is Bush's push to get the public to buy into his bullshit regarding the spying on us. AAnd its working evidently..people just cant be that dumb..or they just dont give a shit. What I have heard people say is this: If your not doing anything terroristic what are you worried about?

Latest poll I saw tonight said 53% of the public doesnt have a problem with the Feds spying on citizens without warrants..with regards to terrorist activities.

What do they do with info they get that might be construed as illegal yet has nothing to do with terrorism..they hand it over to the FBI is my bet.

>>>when presented with clear, substantiated documentation about something they've done wrong or lied about, they just flat out deny it and/or say they're right and everyone else is wrong.<<<

OR...and I LOVE this tactic...it's so precictable...

They dig up another BinLaden tape...or exploit the diappearance/kidnapping of some poor girl on an island resort...or...exploit the plight of a brain dead woman and her family...to take our attention away from their bullshit...

it's the jedi mind trick in reverse...

Right- they 'find' a dusty Bin Laden tape they've had in reserve until they needed it and spring it on us.
The recent ObL audio tape was in their hands since early December- that they held onto it speaks volumes.
Leaving bin Laden at large has served their purposes well. Halliburton ought to put him on their board of directors- he's made them billions.

Bush is the James Frey of politics.

maybe, this post will give you some reason for hope ...

okay, let's say you'd like to learn about an actual political campaign to impeach the president ...

ah, none of this noise about a yearning for somebody to go do it ...

in addition, you'd like to learn about a game plan to snag Osama ...

if all the above meets with your approval, then click, somehow, on the following hyperlink:

and get ready for a ride on a wild blog

oh, yes, the above was copied and then pasted by an actual human being, who visited your "pulp friction" blog.

oh, one more thing, keep an eye on Pennsylvania's 10th Congressional District ... I'm trying to base my campaign on the three planks I nailed together in my platform ... "impeach bush" is the first plank ... the second is "impeach bush" ... and the third is like the second, "impeach bush".

She who is known as Karen Zipdrive likes your planks, but she fears they are connected with Crazy Glue.
