CIA Director Quits?

Last night on Bill Mahar, he mentioned an ongoing Watergate party/sex scandal and said that CIA Director Porter Goss quit because he was implicated in the sexual aspects of the ongoing party.
Huh? How did I miss that?
Could it be that the man entrusted with National Security via the Central Intelligence Agency had time to cheat on his wife and romp around with hookers paid by lobbyists?
Man.
Bush really knows how to pick 'em.

I also have read that the hookers weren't all woman either...makes for interesting reading.

I will buy Valerie Plame's book the nanosecond it hits the stands.
I can believe the male hooker angle- the GOP has more closets than Tom Cruise's mansion.

Ooops-- looks like Bush's own party has rejected Bush's pick to replace Porter Goss.
Seems Bush picked a retired General and the GOP doesn't like the idea of a soldier running a civilian agency.
One former retired military officer and CIA director agrees:
Retired Adm. Stansfield Turner, who headed the CIA during the Carter administration, said he did not think Hayden was a good choice.

"I happen to think the wiretapping was illegal and we need to clarify that for the whole American public, and the debate of his nomination will do that, I believe," Turner said on CBS' "The Early Show."

Agreed.
Anyone who Bush picks would have to be an ass kisser who thinks Bush can do no wrong.

They would if they thought they could loot and pillage the treasury.

Visit the Blog "No Quarter," listed to the right, to get a more complete lowdown on the Goss resignation. Very suspicious...
