Can You Live Without These Companies' Products?

Crest Whitestrips
Mercedes Benz
GMC Suv's
Best Buy
New Phase
Gold Bond
American Express
Holiday Inn Express
M Professional

Think about it.
Can you think of other sources for what these companies sell?
I'm asking because these are Fox News' major sponsors.
These companies are paying Rupert Murdoch billions so he can pay terror sympathizers like Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck millions to stir people to murder.
Do you realize what station owners do to on-air "talent" whose thoughtless words run off sponsors?
They fire them.
We lefties don't fight fire with fire.
We didn't kill Bill O'Reilly because he incited a maniac to kill an abortion doctor, and Glenn Beck is still alive even though his words probably resonated with the Holocaust Museum's assassin.
We lefties write letters. We join
We do boycotts.

So how about it?
If you'd like, I can round up corporate e-mails for all these sponsors and post them here so you can write to them and voice your objections to their sponsoring Fox News.
You could all use the list on your own Blogs and together we can organize a boycott.
Research says one letter of complaint (or praise) speaks for 1,000 people. Imagine them getting 100 letters in one day.

Are you in?

OK, but can you include an email to someone that's in charge of getting rid of Joe Scarborough too? He's killing my morning tv watching as I get ready for work. I like MSNBC but can't watch him and stupid Mika without upsetting my stomach. Joe has to go.

Dude, you know I'm in.

One request: YOU are a much better writer than I am. Care to post an outline of an effective email to send to these bitches?

I have a small problem when I write angry emails to companies: too many four-letter words...

Boycotts are effective.....
but I can't give up *Toyota*- there is one parked in the driveway & they have one of the most eco friendly vehicles out there.
Damn! Always tradeoffs in life.
Still a deluge of letters to them saying Fox News is hateful & discriminatory, please stop advertising with them or I can't buy your product might cause them to drop Fox.
Aspercreme , Gold Bond & GM be damned!

I'll be sure to write some sample letters, oh and for those of you who already own these products, there's always the threat of not buying another until they withdraw their ads.
As for Joe Scarborough on MSNBC, I think he has pictures of some NBC exec fucking a sheep. That's the only thing that explains it.

It's one thing to be right wing. It's another to tell outright lies and incite crazy people. Count me in.

My wife always uses Holiday Inn Express and has bonus points for air miles; but she says only one place (Tixass) in two years has had Fux UNews on in the faux breakfast bar. All the rest of them can suck it.

i'm about to ditch comcast, because their service is overpriced and sucks. this will give me another reason for canceling them, and i will tell them so in a letter. i love writing nasty letters to heads of corporations!

you can count me in too. :)

The only thing I would be giving up is Comcast, but I think it's time. There are a few things I love on TV but not $70 a month worth. It's time to pull the plug and tell them why.

Thanks for posting this list. I'll put it on my blog as well.

I'll have a problem with Comcast and Am Ex but none on the rest of them.

We did get a note from Verizon saying our neighborhood can get FIOS now...maybe it's a sign to switch.

Am Ex is a bit harder - we use it to make sure not to rack up huge credit card bills on MasterCard and Visa, since Am Ex makes you pay every month in full. However, I could just not spend any money on credit cards - that would be good for the boycott AND my saving money!

I hate Fox News - and Joe Scarborough for that matter. I agree, they are the ones who are causing this rightwing hatred to pop up from out of the shadows in this country.

you might want to add hilton hotels and embassy suites (which is owned by hilton) to the list. they pulled their advertising from cbs, because they were getting complaints about david letterman's joke about princess sarah's daughter.

We need to make those corporations miserable for being associated with Fox.

I'll be coming up with sample letters and e-mail addies today.
Let's get 'em!

Thanks OKJimm.
Turns out the best way to reach these companies is to go to their websites and paste in a letter to their "contact us" template.
They are smart enough not to post specific e-mail addies because of reasons like this.
I could list whatever contact info I can glean from the net, but I'd just be directing everyone to their web pages.
I'll write some sample letters, though.

I'm in, Zip. I'll miss my Gold Bond itchy creme, but I'll do without!
