Letterman's Words of Wisdom
This clip is a little lengthy, but once you get past the first part where Letterman gives McCain credit for being a "war hero," Letterman blasts him for being a chickenshit with a really bad running mate.

Wow, I think its sad to see McCain losing his wits at such an alarming rate.
At this point, people need to recognize he's losing it and stop calling him a "maverick" and just call him "erratic." Not "impulsive" because that sounds like he'd be fun and adventuresome. Erratic is a decent euphemism for demented. And dementia is what's actually going on with McCain, and for that I'm sad. But McCain's not a nice old guy with dementia, like Abe Simpson. McCain is a selfish mean-ass bastard that's probably having a very difficult time not slugging someone when they disobey his crazy demands.
letterman is like a dog with a bone. he isn't letting this go. i think pissing off letterman might be the worst mistake capt underpants has made so far. letterman has a huge audience, and they are are being reminded what a liar capt u is.
I think my favorite part was how relentless Letterman was about McCain lying to him about not appearing. He was clearly pissed- and inviting in Keith Olbermann as a last minute guest was a great way for Dave to say fuck you to the saggy old liar.

I think Letterman's remark about someone putting slipping something into McCain's metamucil is my favorite line.
