Wait there's more! Mat-Su Regional Medical Center, where Sarah Palin allegedly gave birth to Trig on April 18lists all births on any given day. Look who wasn't listed: http://www.matsuregional.com/nursery/show_day.php?month=04&year=2008&day=18
I can't help but feel sorry for Bristol. If the stories prove to be true (which I think they are), she will be at the center of a storm. Which is sad for a 16 year old. And all due to her mother, first concocting this story, and then supposing it wouldn't be uncovered. Sad. But I wonder if MSM will even address it - is there a way to do it tactfully for the sake of the minors involved? Or maybe they will let the tabloids and bloggers do all the work then be available for the final interview ala Edwards?
I feel sorry for any kid born into a family where secrets are told to save face, without regard for the scars they leave. I feel sorry for any kid whose parents are so wrapped up in their own lives & ambitions, they fail to properly supervise them, inform them about sex or otherwise fail to curtail teen pregnancy. So many of these conservative evangelicals love to talk the talk without walking the walk. They don't have to- the lemmings who support them don't ask any questions. It's really quite sad for all their kids.
thanks....Zip for posting this- I did link it on Watergate...do you mind if I post on Questions? thanks for working this,..we will get the MSM to pick this up..
you are linked and yes I did borrow the video- hope you don't mind..Excellent- this will take alot of bloggers spreading the word...( I linked it at Watergate Summer and "Questions").....
What's unreal is that the story could slip through the cracks, along with McCain being a serial adulterer, a rage-o-holic and a serious health risk as president. Bush proved to us you can be a dope addled, alcoholic draft dodger and still get by with it. Cheney proved you can have your buddies steal billions from the treasury and get by with that.
We simply have to start drawing the line somewhere, and I think McCain's choice of this clueless bimbo is so calculated and insulting, she's the last straw.
Morse, I somehow doubt her intentions were for the benefit of her teen-aged daughter. I think her radical, evangelical, right-wing political persona could not withstand having a knocked-up kid. I think she's deluded enough to think that having a baby at her age would add to her GOP cache. And that she was quick to announce they decided to keep the baby after they heard about the down syndrome via amnio was especially cold and calculated if it turns out that it wasn't she who birthed the kid. If that's the case, she will have out-Bushed Bush, the reigning champion of GOP bullshittery.

Wow. She may have had the best intentions for her daughter in mind, but if she's lying about this, why should she be trusted?
