A Blog About Nothing

Nothing in the news interests me today.
It's gonna be hot and humid today, also known as brain damage weather.
I read lots of Blogs I link to and found no inspiration.
I'm trying to think of reasons why I shouldn't go back to bed and take a mid-morning nap. The only thing I came up with was that it might spoil my afternoon nap.
Is there a cure for ennui?

oh come on, what about the next Gov with a "prominent" wife about to be outed by a prostitute working for the same organ-ization as the one that tagged Spitzer?

Well, I guess that's really sort of common these days. hohum

Hey KZ,

It's easy! :)

1) Buy one of those little electric ice cream makers with a tub that freezes solid in your freezer before you start the process.

2) Put the frozen freezer tub into the plastic outside (with the cover, motor and dash on top).

3) Turn it on and pour in ingredients:

1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 can evaporated milk
1/4 cup of sugar (if you feel like it)
2 Tablespoons of vanilla (or however much you want!)

(You can have the cans of milk already cold, if you like. And, you can pour all the stuff into a bowl and stir it up first and then pour it in, if you like. I usually pour the two cans into the freezer at the same time while it's running.)

At this point, the little freezer tub is mostly full and churning. You can add more stuff if you like(fruit or chocolate chips or whatever you want to add), then finish filling it (to not quite full) with milk.

You let it go until it can't go anymore. Then, you turn off the motor, serve it and eat it.

It might take a few minutes longer to make it the first time, just because it's the first time. After that, you'll want to make a new batch every day! :)

It makes itself. And, it's really good. :)

I posted a crazy 1944 clip of the Ross Sisters & a parody to go with it. Maybe that will cheer you up?

They are gals from Texas.....but I'm guessing their moves are not in your repertoire!
