Nah- Cheney's Not a Crook...

An analysis released by a Democratic senator found that Vice President Dick Cheney's Halliburton stock options have risen 3,281 percent in the last year.
Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ) asserts that Cheney's options -- worth $241,498 a year ago -- are now valued at more than $8 million.
The former CEO of the oil and gas services juggernaut, Cheney has pledged to give proceeds to charity..."

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Charity!

I wonder if Lynne Cheney is busily setting up a "faith based" charity right now in preparations for the $8 million donation?

Lynne's faith based charity, lol! Devoted to creative writing, no doubt. :)

Cheney donating his profits to charity is as likely as any of the oil robber barons in charge of siphoning off the oil fields on the North Slope -- actually donating their unprecedented profits back to the people, who are faced with either freezing or starving this winter because of a projected 50% hike in heating fuel bills here locally.

Add that to the already 50% hike last winter and what math do you come up with?

I feel the need to organize within the local business organizations some kind of heating fuel bill bailout for the residents, a kind of re$erve back up plan, because this behavior is unacceptable, to squeeze everyone under the top 10% income bracket like this (while simultaneously realizing that these thieves are laughing, all the way to the bank, at our expense.)

I sure hope Karma works.
