Holy Cow!
A Zipdrive Blogatorial™

Did anyone happen to see Bush yesterday, tele-chatting with a clump of junior commissioned officers stationed in Iraq?
First, White House Press Secretary and full-time Bush Bitch Scottie McClellan said it was totally unrehearsed.
Later, a couple of media outlets showed footage of the rehearsal. What a pudgy liar, Scottie.
But wait.
You mean that crappy dog and pony show was rehearsed?
Bush came across as a faltering simpleton, asking leading questions and soliciting rah rah, pat answers. Even then, Bush couldn't resist interrupting the nervous young captains and lieutenants with his typical, off topic, folksy jibber jabber...heh, heh, heh.
It reminded me of a pep rally for the worst high school football team in the state.
You know they have no chance of winning, but they pretended to have high spirits so's not to offend the drunken old has-been coach.

Why is Bush bothering anymore?
His administration is poised on the brink of total Nixonization, yet one of his handlers planned this abysmally weak publicity stunt? It sure wasn't a Karl Rove scheme- he's too busy wolfing down Rolaids and having nervous diarrhea outbursts as he awaits his indictment.

Give me a fucking break, BushCo.

Bush needs to get back to Crawford and hide under the bed until the impeachment hearings.
He'd have to be further up in the polls to be considered toast.

Here's more on the highly scripted "spontaneous" chat:

Editor & Publisher | October 13, 2005
Contrary to early accounts, President Bush's question-and-answer session with U.S. troops in Iraq tied to Saturday's vote on the new constitution now seems far from spontaneous. Subsequent reports from journalists on the scene revealed quite a bit of choreography in Thursday's teleconference with the president in Washington.
The official pool report, in fact, painted this scene: "The soldiers, nine U.S. men and one U.S. woman, plus an Iraqi, had been tipped off in advance about the questions in the highly-scripted event. Allison Barber, deputy assistant to the Secretary of Defense for internal communication, could be heard asking one soldier before the start of the event, 'Who are we going to give that [question] to?'"

Phony bastards.

I didn't see it, but I read the reports on it..Scottie is either dumb as a rock or kept in the dark like a mushroom..which is it?

Did you see the Scotty try to screw Helen Thomas? And then another reporter come to her defense?

I hear snarling.

I understand that you don't like GW (not too many people do these days) but for what, exactly, could he be impeached? Constitution of the United States, Article II, Section 4: "The President . . . of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors." As far as we know, he has done none of these.

All of the above, Kelly...the whole list...and it keeps getting bigger. I know full well we can't toss his ass for being a complete dipshit, but a crooked dipshit is another story.

Where to begin?

1. Lied about WMD.
2. Unilaterally invaded a sovereign nation without provocation and justification.
3. Gave huge cuts to the wealthiest taxpayers.
4. Guilty of numerous cronyism appointments (Homeland Security, Supreme Court, etc)
5. Lied to Americans about the real cost of war.

now, all of these may or may not be construed as being criminal acts (with the exception of the lies concerning war...), but it's a beginning. I'm sure if someone in a position to do so started doing some digging, he or she woulod surely turn up quite a few things that COULD be taken as illegal and impeachable.

On the same token, what was so impeachable about Clinton's Oval Office Oral Escapades?

Bush has done irreversable damage to the moral, social and economic fabric of this nation, and we impeached Clinton over cum stains on a blue dress...

Who's wearing the blue dress now?

Kelly, Thank you for visiting my Blog.
Mr. in.dog.neato did most of the heavy lifting by way of a detailed explanation, but mine will be more brief.
Lying to Congress in order to invade a sovereign nation is sufficient cause for impeachment.

to be fair and honest, I did lift those reasons from your post by Andy Ostroy...he seemed to have a fairly decent account of Chimp's misdeeds to date...

It galls me when people try and pretend that Chimp has done nothing wrong, or is some sort of patsy, part of a larger conspiracy. Bush is far from innocent, and has been for decades. His misdeeds go back to his younger years in the Guard, his dealings in Harken Energy and Arbusto Oil, the execution of more inmates than any other governor in Texas history, the Texas Rangers fiasco...the list goes on and on...

Bush has been and always will be...a self-serving white collar criminal, until he finally is called to account.

Bush is not a 'white collar criminal.'
The term 'white collar' refers to people who work behind desks rather than providing hands-on services like plumbing or construction.
Bush was born into an elite, American aristocracy, where having an actual job was not an economic necessity.
Work for him was something he'd invent using other people's money, then he'd run it into the ground and start another failed business using other people's money.
He's never had a boss because he cannot endure anyone controlling his insane behaviors.
He's more an ermine collar criminal.

ermine...GUFFAW! is it possible to shoot strawberry preserves out of one's nose while laughing?

yer right, kz...i stand corrected.

Sorry about the jam stains, dog.
When I read about the Bush administration's latest acts of criminal behavior, I worry more about the projectile vomit stains on my screen.

I can't believe someone actually had the balls to come on here and defend Bush, insinuating that he can't be impeached for his actions!

LOL!

But then I looked, and he's a law student.

Just what we need - another repube lurking and instigating.

Treason could be linked by his aiding and abetting a treasonous actor (or actors) on his staff who outed Valerie Plame.
Bribery could be established by his earlier contacts with the Saudis, who loaned him money for his failed oil businesses when even his own father refused to do that.
That uncaptured Osama bin Laden and most of the 9/11 terrorists were Saudi, and Bush continues to hold hands and stroll among the Crawford bluebonnets with Saudi royalty tells us where his loyalties lie.
Ask any Saudi- they all hated Saddam Hussein- and who'd they hire to go after him?
Deputy Barney Fife Bush, that's who.
