Better Late Than Never

Turns out Scott McClellan's new book tells a lot more than early media hints last winter initially indicated.
In the book, he exposes the liars in the Bush administration and portrays Bush as a nice enough guy who has been continually misled by the likes of Karl Rove, Dick Cheney, Scooter Libby and the rest of those slimy manipulators.
He admits that the media was lax in allowing the Bushies to spoon-feed them bullshit in the lead-up to the Iraq war.
In other words, he wrote about what all of us already know.

Predictably, the Bush clan is calling him a disgruntled former employee.
Funny, I seem to recall his departure was laden with fond farewells, a lot of man-hugs and glowing endorsements from the Bushies.

The lies continue, as another rat jumps off the sinking ship.

Why couldn't he tell the truth when he was at the White House? It's all fine and good to do it now, but he helped push a lot of that Bush bullshit back then, so he's just as liable as the rest of them for their crimes.

McClellan, Colin Powell and others were LIED to by the administration. Yes, hindsight is 20/20 but those people really believed there were WMD, why would the CIA, W, and Cheney lie about such a thing? Now they feel duped and are pissed off. I look foward to Colin's book, it gonna be a doozy!
Rowdy

Yes - Karl Rove had it right... sounds like a lefty blogger.

So I am "coming out" - it was me all along.

Y'all fell for the whole FranIam gig, but it was me, porkpie Scotty all along.

The pay was good and there was that whole Jeff Gannon connection, so I just went with it.

Signed, Free at last

hahahaa it is not very funny but it would be at least a more reasonable explanation.

Karl Rove has been exposed as the conniving snake he is so many times it's a wonder he still gets to comment on anything.
Furthermore, for McClellan to sound like a left-wing blogger, his book should have come out six years ago.

And please note- nobody is disputing the contents of the book, just that we wrote it.

oops make that, "Just that HE wrote it."

hoo boy, did you get a look at the little message Dole sent Scotty? Politico has it, wow.

On Monday Scott will be on Hard Ball. Chris Mathews is so excited he's gone from spitting when he talks, to just plain drooling.

Can't wait.

Yesh, I did see the e-mail Dole sent McClellan, accusing him of greed.
I guess when Dole went on national TV lamenting his erectile dysfunction and hawking Viagra, greed played no role in his decision. He was doing that as a public service, just like any impotent old fart would, huh?

Just keep this in mind- as many GOP creeps who are whining about Scottie's loyalty- nobody is disputing the truthfulness of his allegations.

Yesh?
Sounds like I was drinking while I was thinking.
