It Just Got Worse
You recall my recent entries about the murder of local restaurateur Viola Barrios and the quick arrest of her punk-ass murderer, the 18-year-old jerk who lived next door to her named Joey Estrada.
Well, get this.
He killed her by shooting her in the head with a fucking arrow.
Then he stole her credit card and her 'Benz, went to the gas station and charged up $10 worth, which he used to set fires in her bedroom where he shot her.
The fire must have burnt the exposed arrow shaft.
The coroner found the arrowhead lodged deep inside her brain through the MRI they did during the autopsy.
He's been charged with capital murder and in jailed in lieu of a million dollar bond.
The DA is asking for the death penalty.
I hope she gets what she's asking for. And I pray I'm on that sentencing jury.

It gets more than worse. He lit her on fire because he thought she "might be still alive". Thankfully no smoke was found in her lungs so she was dead when he poured gasoline on her. Yes, Zip, he is indeed fucked up.
Rowdy
oh boy...... this is unreal. why should he even get a trial? i know due process, but watch the next version of a twinkie defense --- and that he was not responsible
The defense attorney's gotta be begging for a plea deal right about now. A trial would do nothing but waste court time and tax money, and create a non-stop fucked-up circus in the media.
Karen - I was channel surfing last night and stumbled upon 'Throwdown with Bobby Flay' on the food network. The episode was 'Puffy Taco's' with Viola and her daughter, Diana.
It was both sad and heartwarming to watch such a wonderful family share their love of food and cooking. I couldn't help but smile. What a magical woman, and such a tragic loss.
But even her son is saying that the kid didn't know what he was doing!!!! I'm waiting to see if the son takes the stand and asks for leniency during the punishment phase. This person is a monster and the citizens of San Antonio are well rid of him.
From what I hear, Louis Barrios can't contribute to the kid's legal defense fund because that could be an issue that could justify an appeal.
Also, my ears to the ground tell me once Louis Barrios heard that Estrada killed his mother with an arrow to the head before he incinerated her made Louis change his mind.
Glad to hear that. I was thinking that I wouldn't be eating at their restaurant again as I don't want a dime of my money going to that monster's defense. I also don't want my tax dollars to keep him in prison for the next 60 years. He's a confessed murderer.
