I went to the National Sex Offender Public Registry (http://www.nsopr.gov/) to see what our new Attorney General Alberto Gonzales has created to help us identify sex offenders in our areas.
The site provided me with this helpful message when I pressed the, "using this search" button:

Gee, and it probably only cost us taxpayers $150 million or so to create.
