Rep.Mark Foley (R FL)
Another Gay GOP Chickenhawk BUSTED

"...ABC News reported Friday that Foley also engaged in a series of sexually explicit instant messages with current and former male pages. In one message, ABC said, Foley wrote to one page: "Do I make you a little horny?"

In another message, Foley wrote, "You in your boxers, too? ... Well, strip down and get relaxed."

Foley, as chairman of the Missing and Exploited Children's Caucus, had introduced legislation in July to protect children from exploitation by adults over the Internet. He also sponsored other legislation designed to protect minors from abuse and neglect.

"We track library books better than we do sexual predators," Foley has said.

And he once accused the Supreme Court of "siding with pedophiles over children."

Foley was a member of the Republican leadership, serving as a deputy whip. He also was a member of the House Ways and Means Committee..."

Yay!
There goes one GOP seat in the Congress.
Enjoy your NAMBLA membership.
Adios, MoFo.

What's with these guys? At least this one wasn't hiding behind The Wife.

P.S. CNN is all over this Foley story tonight.
They seem to think a law was broken- I mean besides other members of Congress knowing about and protecting a known pedophile.
They need to launch an investigation with a special prosecutor.
Child exploitation is a horrid crime. Foley's home computer should be gone over with a fine tooth comb.

What do you bet that computer of Foley's goes "missing" with the 100+ FEMA computers that walked this past year?

There's just one little loophole here that we need to keep an eye on...

The age of consent in DC is 16 (Florida is a little more complicated, 16 for some - 18 for others) Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying his behavior wasn't deplorable and completely inappropriate, no not at all. He's an adulterous, lying, duplicitous, twisted fuckwit, but did he actually break the law? We shall see.

Actually, (and thankfully) I'm wrong. The age of consent on the Internet is 18. I believe Mr. Foley was himself responsible for that bit of legislation ...

Like so many Republicans, they legislate without regard to how the law might effect them, because they are above the law.
I'm glad Foley took a strong stand against trolling pedophiles when he was on the committee to regulate online sexual predators.
May the law be tested against his chickenhawk ass.
