I agree with Fran. Even with polls at 20 pts I wouldn't want anyone to let up the pressure.
The reason that McCain is flailing around is that he's only ever had one message "Straight Talkin' Maverick" and that was based on a lie. The republicans' narrative has been shown to be a colossal failure. Deregulation is destroying the country. All that is left for them to do is get Obama in so that they can blame him for our problems. Look, FDR went in three years after the Stock Market crash and these days 'pubbies still blame him for prolonging the depression.
This all reminds me of a Bugs Bunny episode where a bunch of dogs shout "Dog pile on the rabbit!"
OMG, what's more pathetic than the rudder-less McCain campaign are these conservative pundits saying so after gleefully stating last month that Palin has energized the ticket. I thinking they're positioning themselves for the next big political sport -- beating up President Obama.
It's not over, but we can't let up. There's still 21 days left to campaign, and now the goal should be LANDSLIDE. My numbers say 372-166 in the electoral college as it stands today with most recent polls, with the expected value being 352-186, because the states McCain has - what I will politely call The Stupid States - he has locked up, while some of the states that are leaning for Obama could go either way.
We need to whup 'em, then tell them to STFU because they had their chance and they done FUCKED UP!
We can not get complacent with this or any lead that the polls may report! Our goal should be a landslide to account for the election fraud thats bound to occur

True indeed, but this should not indicate that any of us should let up on our own efforts to get Obama elected.
The GOP is pathetic.
