Dusty, there were no kids at the 7:15 show I went to, and I didn't notice anyone talking. And best of all, there were no Republicans in the audience! YAY!
I'm going to check this flick out when I get the chance. And I know, when I go, I do not expect the noise of cell phones and babies crying. They'll all be next door howling at Beverly Hills Chihuahua.
Katie, that's pretty much what Stone did, but I think the real Bush is far more cynical, sociopathic and mean spirited. I think he's about as born again evangelical as me.
KZD: I have to agree with you on that - I think the shrub USES religion once he figured out what it could do for him. The guy has never even been able to quote scripture and never memorized passages. The film showed what a great memory he has, and what an amazing capacity for memorizing stuff by rote. So why wouldn't he know bible passages, unless he didn't give two shits?
Yeah they were too sympathetic with his character. He has had a lot more nefarious intent, methinks.

God I want to see it, but I hate going to movies...people talk, kids yell..the general public are dipshits that ruin the experience.
Tell me all about it in an email then... :)
dusty, that's why you go in the middle of the week when all the rugrats are in school. ;-)

I might try to see it midweek as Randal mentioned. ;p
I read that he was trying to show him as a good guy with misguided overly zealous religious intentions. Did you find that to be true?
Good - I probably won't hate it then, going to see it in 1.5 hours. I'll report back.
