The Boss Says, "You Better Vote!"

I am cautiously giddy at the prospect of Obama winning tomorrow's electoral votes by a large margin.
Of course the racist governments of racist states are doing all they can to suppress the vote, but I somehow doubt they'll get by with it.
People are hip to those who wish to tamper with the poll results, and I'm sure the media is hungry for news of this sort.
Please vote, even if you're in a blue state that's bound to go for Obama.
Please vote, even if you're in a red state that could surprise you.
We will look back on this as the election of a lifetime. Please be a part of the revolution and vote.

I don't recall ever seeing Springsteen stumping for anyone else but Obama.
I wonder if he sang "Born in the USA" when was on stage?

There are no red states, there are no blue states, there are the United States.

And, oh yeah, go out and vote.

It's important.

Well, he has campaigned for Kerry and probably Gore, but there was some negative fallout from that last time. I don' wan' no rocknroll store tellin me who ta vote fur...

But this year sets a new standard. It hasn't hurt that the Repubs sent the economy down the toilet. It has helped that this guy has taken the high road throughout his campaign.

Can't wait to vote!

Karen (and PF readers): Yesterday morning, I called my baby sister in Lubbock (RED!RED!RED!) Texas just to check in. She wasn't home. About an hour later, my phone rang and it was Kelly calling me back. She had just returned from Obama HQ in Lubbock where she told them, "I don't have much, but here's $10.00. Is there anything I can do to help?" They gave her a list of people to call (in LUBBOCK!). She asked, "If I get through this list, can I bring it back and get another?" They responded with enthusiasm.

I later heard that she finished the first list, picked up another and today is volunteering to drive voters to the polls and back.

I was a PoliSci major in college, so these elections have been critically important to me my whole life. To my knowledge, Kelly has never before been actively involved in politics of any sort.

I have never been so proud of my little sister as I am today!!!
